Poseidon Water Coordinates Tour of Bolsa Chica Wetlands for Underprivileged Students

On October 30, 2019,  underprivileged 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students in Cal State Fullerton’s Center for Healthy Neighborhoods Program toured the Bolsa Chica wetlands as guests of the Bolsa Chica Conservancy.  With Poseidon Water hosting the tour and the transportation to and from Fullerton, these students had an opportunity to learn about how an ecologically diverse and healthy wetlands results in cleaner water and a cleaner environmental for all of Orange County.

For many of the students, this was their first time visiting the wetlands.  While onsite they had the chance to make plaster impressions of tracks from animals that live in the wetlands and explore the trails along the wetlands.
 
The diverse biological makeup in the Bolsa Chica wetlands is exceptional.  That’s why Poseidon Water’s plan to protect and preserve the Bolsa Chica wetlands is so important to the Bolsa Chica Conservancy and the many students and environmental stewards they serve.
