Desalination In Huntington Beach Would Have Minimal Impact On Environment
Huntington Beach, CA – Poseidon Resources announced today that after comprehensive research, study and investigation an independent Environmental Impact Report has concluded that building a desalination facility in Huntington Beach would have little to no environmental impact on the city of Huntington Beach and its coast. The Environmental Impact Report (EIR) prepared by the City of Huntington Beach and available to the public today, says that the Huntington Beach Water Treatment Facility “would be consistent with the Huntington Beach General Plan, Local Coastal Program and Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance, and SCAG Regional Comprehensive Guide.”
